That is really a good idea Christine. We could have a fund raiser so to speak and sell on line. Also what a great way to meet and get to know our little family here..

What a great fund raiser idea! I LOVE it!!!! I also might be interesting in like just donating into a main account type thing at random. I mean yanno most times when I get paid I dontate something to someone. Maybe we could set up an account we're we could like pool money together?
Or I was wondering what your thoughts would be if I sold like stuff on ebay... like just stuff your know like "stuff" I want to get rid of and needed a perfect motivator behind me to get off my butt and sell it and donate all the proceeds to the group?
What a wonderful idea to work toward a common goal together!!!

Thats a really great idea Elaine, I would be more then happy to be the facilitator to do all of that.... One thing about PayPal though is they take a lot of fees out, so it might be better for us to have a bank account that we put money into and transfer the PayPal funds to, we can use the PayPal account for selling things, in fact we would need a bank account to open a PayPal account anyhow..... Since so many of you are wanting to participate in this I will get a "group" bank account this week and start it. I think if you Elaine, or anyone else wanted to just give money to the group, it would be to our benefit if maybe you write a check and I deposited it in the bank account, rather then using PayPal though. You know I could just give updates about the amount of money we make etc, like a secretary would do. I was looking at the Fairy Park someone posted, there is a cabin there that houses 16 people,,, it has a kitchen and like 5 bedrooms,,, not to say we would have to use that one but it gave me the idea of finding a cabin like that somewhere for this trip for us. I am sure there are places like that all over, that was just the idea,,, and it would be really awesome if we could do that with one another, you know... Imagine the energy we would share!! I have had a busy weekend so I havent had a chance to write an ad yet, BUT I promise soon I will, maybe today, if not today soon,,, and I will post it here so you all can let me know what you think... I really think when we decide and set our clear intentions on this we can and will make it happen |
