Summer 2008 Crystal Digging Fun!

Lets make a list of who is planning on going crystal digging with us,,, we need to start planning so those that are flying can get cheap air fare etc...

So I am coming, with kids....

I think we should start a forum just for this, a locked one,,, so our plans are amongst those that are traveling. I just think thats the best idea... So let me know if your coming and I will let you know where the forum and password are

Sooo... did we decide on a where? I've been so random about being on here I thought I'd check.

I am not 100% sure ... yet. I would like to crystal dig this year. However, my brother is moving this year and my Mom and I might visit Alaska this summer before he moves.

THEN... I have a group of friends here local who are wanting me to go to an Arizona crystal dig.

So.... either I'm gonna have to pass this time around or... ya'll wanna go to Arizona and we could combine it? Even though I haven't even commited to them yet either LOL.

See, a group is wanting to drive together and share expenses. 3 of them have already gone and have some huge just HUGE crystals! One of them is a 5 foot around cluster of large crystals. It's like 2 or 300 pounds and very cool. I've seen lots of the smaller crystals too and lemme tell ya...they are awesome!

But I haven't committed to anything yet. But, I do feel kinda drawn to go to Arizona.. Have you seen how clear the crystals are? OMG amazing!


So I guess my answer would be no and then yes and then maybe... kinda. For now.

I'd like to meet/see everybody but so much to do and be and so little time and money.


That's all I got. Even though it's not really an answer. If I did go I will likely bring at least one boy with me. Depends on if the other is with his Dad or me. If both are hear I'll prolly bring both.

well, i'm almost positive i will be there. i just need to know where and when so my hubby can see about taking his vacation time and all that stuff. yeah, i'd be coming with kids and hubby. lol. no way around that one. he he he......but it'll be fine. i may just have to split time between ya'll and them and maybe combine the two too. lol. anyhoo, where should we go? i do know that if it's toooooo far away, it may be hard to get the hubby to want to go. a couple/few states is one thing, but across america would be another. lololol.....(we're not the grizwalds. he he he) anyhoo, i'm in so let's figure a place!

right,,, i figured we could figure out who,,, then work on where... so lets see who else is planning,,, im looking at about the first week in july... what is that like for all of you?

my intention is that i drive up north to visit family, then go to saffys house in ohio and we meet all of you somewhere,,,

yea, like after the 4th of july.... how does that sound? i forgot about the 4th,,, so we should meet after then,,, i sooo want you to go fairey... you know we could go to mamouth cave,,, it is in Kentucky,,, not sure where we could dig at, but I know we can go look at the caverns and stuff, and i bet we could find places to dig.... thats sort of between you and Saffy, Aura,,, not sure who else will be joining us,,, Arkansas is too far for me this time around,, since im going to Michigan first,,, I think thats too much for me,,, sorry Elaine,,, will miss you though!!!

Oh, I tell ya what! If you come to Kentucky I'm soooo there! That's only a 1- 3 hour drive. Oh, I just looked it up it'd be about 2 1/2 hour drive from me!

I'd be stupid not to come.

Make it Kentucky and I'm there. With family, with out, with Aunt with out, with bells on, with out... Ok you get the point I'm there! You'd practically be at my back door!

So count me in if you come the next State over. And Star if you're in Michigan I'll drive there to see ya. Lemme know. If you choose another place to dig I'll try and hook up with you and Linda. Surely you'd only be a few hours away. So if nothing else lemme know. July is PERFECT for me!

I would love for all 3 of us be together. Since Star is coming here, we could meet in the middle which won't be long and maybe stay at a hotel or something.

Ok, so lets look at mamouth cave,,, i was there a LONG time ago,,, they have the most awesome caverns and stuff, there has to be something to dig around there... i'll do some looking tonight... i am putting it on my list of "to do's" right now
