Affirmation: I have a right to express my truth. Create a stop sign practice out of the experience of toasting bread. Putting the bread in is a reminder to stop, breathe, calm and experience peace.

I totally agree Star. What is really sad is when you do have something (as in an item) people look at you like you are crazy for giving something away. Sometimes even an ear to listen too, after a while they look at you and can't believe you are still listening.
It is a sad world when being a giving person is the unusual.

Do a meditation upon death by dying a little with each exhalation. Die into the present moment. Whatever sensations you may feel, let go of them. Let go of any attempts to control the mind. Breath by breath, forgive others. Forgive those from the past as well as those who are still around you. Forgive yourself. Accept others for what they are. Accept yourself totally. Let go and let be. Fly free. Soar in the freedom of desirelessness. Whatever you set out to make - a bed, a meal, a piece of furniture, a painting - you should make it as well as you can, boldly and with spirit.

Try a period of Noble Silence. It is a rest for all of the senses. Turn off the radio, the phone, the television. Turn off the thoughts in your head. Take refuge in the inner calm and peace of the quiet mind. Do not write, read, surf the Internet. Keep still. This is how you learn to cultivate higher levels of hearing, perception, and vision. Pay attention to all the manifestations of nature when you take your morning walk.

lol, agreed. i usually do this type practice at night, after everyone is asleep. during the day i'm usually too busy and when everyone is awake a quaking, there's no peace. lol. so, yeah, at night, before sleep, is when i try to find that inner peace. actually, it's amazing sometimes what you'll actually pick up on.

For me that would be so hard to do with Sara around all the time. And I can't type to Jackson "wanna go outside?" But maybe set aside a few hours during one day. I can do that.

Meditate on forgiveness to yourself. If there are ways you have harmed yourself or not loved yourself or not lived up to your own expectations, this is the time to let go of the unkindness you feel toward yourself. Say, for all of the ways I have harmed or hurt myself, knowingly or unknowingly, I offer forgiveness. You can do this as part of your daily meditation and let your intention to forgive yourself work over time. Choose any action in your day that is taken for granted. Bring to that activity the clear intention to attend closely to all its details. Listen to your body, be sensitive to the quality of your mind. Be wholeheartedly there.

Hear the crickets, listen to the crickets. If you meditate on that one sound long enough, you will begin your way out of confusion and back onto the path. Save the lives of animals about to be killed.

View meditation as a process without a clearly defined outcome. This way, you create a space in which to sit with yourself, quietly observing your feelings and thoughts, allowing yourself to "be." Another technique of sleeping meditation is to imagine that with each breath you become filled with more light and space. You melt into an ocean of light and space.

Oh, I remember when we lived in the country...I took them for granted...I wish I could hear more now.
Meditation. I have been lazy lately and a goal today is to make a new routine including meditation.
Thanks Aura

Imagine light and nectar filling your body. Starting from below, visualize that all negativities rise and overflow through the upper openings of the body. Feel that they no longer exist and that you are completely cleansed and purified, filled with great blissful spiritual energy. Be aware, stay awake.
